Staying out of the wind

Although the rain has pretty much fallen (for now) it's still pretty windy here, so I decided to stay low and just do a short local ride, through the quarry and around the fields. I was out for about an hour, time enough to enjoy being out but not so long as to chill down (it's been pretty cold). There's a lot of standing water on puddle lane, which I can't do much about, in one place it was almost bottom bracket deep. The fields were, as you'd expect, muddy by the gates but actually quite rideable, presumably the water either runs off or soaks into the limestone soil pretty quickly.
